Storage
Au Logistics has extensive storage facilities at its Merseyside base on the Wirral with in excess of 160,000 sq ft of warehouse space available.
Au Logistics is able to store and distribute a wide range of products and over the past few years the company has been involved in the storage and onward distribution of such items as Christmas Trees, School Consumables, Garden Centre Products and Cosmetics. All products are stored in a safe, organised condition within a locked warehouse environment with continual surveillance to ensure complete security at all times.
Bulk storage space includes high bay racking up to 7 pallets. Storage however is not just limited to pallet racking, Au Logistics is also able to store block stacked pallets or indeed any products requiring shelving in addition. All storage of our customer’s materials is administered via a high specification computer stock system with unique identification procedures in place to ensure accurate stock location and stock balances at all times. Robust stock control procedures are in place to monitor stock levels together with regular stock checking.
Au Logistics provides the facility to receive, store, pick and pack product as per Customer specifications and according to a variety of order processing procedures including orders submitted via the web or by EDI. The company ensures quality of service through the implementation of stringent warehouse productivity controls and the achievement of specified KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Au Logistics also has the ability to receive, decant and sort containers as part of its goods receipts functionality.
Collation & Remedial
Au Logistics can provide all manner of contract packing solutions ranging from simple collation and pack jobs to more complex bagging / boxing or combination work. The company also facilitates labelling and product rectification work (e.g. stickering, erratum slip insertion, etc) together with all forms of packaging, shrink-wrapping, de-packing and re-packing.
Distribution
Through its strategic partnerships with LYNX Express a UPS company, Au Logistics has the ability to deliver products anywhere within the UK and also to many international locations.
All consignments despatched are tracked via the web and online Proof of Delivery information is available to clients via interactive online reporting. Au Logistics have the ability to deliver products ranging from small parcels through to large pallet loads UK and International depending upon the nature of the product stored. The company is fully conversant with all documentation requirements in terms of consignment labelling, onward delivery specifically to international destinations.
Au Logistics offer a number of different delivery service levels ranging from Next Day 9.00am through to Economy 2-3 day delivery for the less urgent consignments being despatched via the network. All delivery services offered are extremely competitively priced.
Mailing
Au Logistics is able to offer extensive mailing facilities ranging from simple 1-2 items into an Envelope despatched via Royal Mail through to more complex multi-item, personalised stationary collation into poly-bag or envelopes despatched via Mailsort as applicable.
Mail clients may also take advantage of Au Logistics ability to offer in-house printing or externally arranged print buying service. Essentially, Au Logistics provides a complete mailing solution from origination of print through collation and preparation of mailing items to final delivery destination.
Au Logistics can work from either pre-supplied labels or from data files ensuring data security at all times. Mailings can start from as few as 500 postings upwards.
Client Services
The Au Logistics Client Services team is both knowledgeable and proactive. Each client is allocated its own dedicated Account Manager who will look after the client’s requirements on a day to day basis. Each Account Manager also ‘backs up’ another so as to ensure administrative cover in the event of absence.
Account Managers enter into regular dialogue with their respective client base, specifically to understand the client’s needs but also to make them aware of any storage or distribution issues i.e. reducing stock levels, seasonal delivery periods etc.
Au Logistics prides itself on its relationship with its clients and targets 6 monthly reviews to ensure satisfaction with regard to services provided, particularly Storage & Distribution. Regular reviews of all Storage & Distribution operational issues are undertaken and clients are kept up to date with KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting.
